Sleep, dear friend, why are we fighting?

i slept horribly last night and i'm not really sure why. i think it started because i went to bed a little bit before i was actually really tired (9:45) so i could get close to 7 and a half hours of sleep (waking up at 5/5:15) but i was all restless, and then girls in the hall were loud in brief spurts (door bang. giggle. door bang. nothing long enough to have a chance to yell at them). and then i think i kind of fell asleep but there were screams of laughter around midnight, and i eventually sat up and yelled "girls, shut up!" i think... much meaner than i usually am because i was so frustrated i was still awake. and then i was really restless after that, there were people outside who were talking, etc. when you can't sleep, you hear like every noise in vail. around 1:15 i got out of bed and went to the bathroom and ate something and sat on my futton and cried in disbelief that i was really still awake. and then i think i finally feel asleep after 2. and now i have three hours of sleep to get me through my really really long day

6:30-12:30 hospital.
2-4 office shift
6-7 choir (in costume)
7-8 central campus pumpkin event i have to go to
8-? choir hang out after choir

the good news is hopefully i'll be able to fall asleep realyl easily tonight?

anyway, gotta get finished getting ready to head out.

i did, ish. who knows if i will ever truly catch up, but i'm back to normal, whatever that is. i know one day i might live with always less than 6 hours of sleep a night, but i'm not ready to give up my 6-8 every night yet.
