So I am currently basking in the glow of a post-retreat high. Oh dear, and now I sound like Anna Bedsole...
anyway, the RUF winter retreat was AWESOME. *sigh* it was just beautiful- Fall Creek Falls is beautiful, taking a nap in the afternoon was beautiful, lounging around with a bunch of girls and just talking with each other was beautiful, hearing people's insight during small group was beautiful, the snow last night and the morning was beautiful, singing loudly in the car on the way back was beautiful. yes.
There are so many awesome people that I got to know better, and so many who I wish I could've hung out with even more! It makes me excited to get to spend more time with people the rest of this semester. I think it was definitely an awesome retreat.
Also, with the persistent encouragment of most of the guys, I bought John Piper's Desiring God, which I will probably start soon. I've heard good things...
Now I'm just sad I have to go back to quizes and studying and you know, real life.
But hey, there's no harm in looking at the newly uploaded facebook photos a little first, right?
