Busy times.

I'm sitting at Anna B's house, the only one awake, and I realized it's high time for a new blog post (if I don't get it in by tomorrow, I'll be breaking my one a month streak!)

So. Life. I've been so busy. I had my vacation, I went to LeakyCon, it was wonderful, and crazy, and I'm already thinking about another con... haha. Definitely had fun, but there's a lot that I didn't get a chance to do at this con that I would love to do at other cons; it's exciting to realize that HP really isn't over- there's still so much to discuss and do, and I think just like Trekkies or Buffy-fanatics, or star wars geeks, or LotR buffs, or whoever all still get together and geek out, HP fans will always do the same. I wish I had been able to make it to some of the earlier cons, but I definitely hope to make it to others in coming years.

Other than HP Geektasticness, my vacation was spent at home, catching up with LOTS of people; friends from high school, friends from church, friends from college, family, old babysitting families, etc. It was good fun, and I definitely stayed busy.

Also... I came home with a kitten! His name is Neville and he is precious. A friend's older brother had found a litter, and Neville still needed a home! So he is now in Nashville with me, and my roommates and I just adore him. He is precious, and curious, and playful, and becoming quite the cuddler. I've never thought of myself as a cat person, but for where I am right now in life, it makes the most sense. And so far I'm enjoying it!

After I got back form vacation, I had an intense work-a-thon. Glad that's over, it was crazy.

And now I'm in Birmingham for the weekend, getting ready to have a wonderful time with my best girl friends from college, as we celebrate the upcoming nuptials of one of us... crazy how quickly life changes!!

Well, that's all you get. Trying to decide whether to go to bed now or not... I slept in until 2 today, but I need to get up in the morning... *sigh* sometimes sleeping is complicated...
